Test results and next to come...
The test results of all Brayden's testing came back normal. He had a spinal tap, skin, muscle and nerve biopsy. We are happy that all came back normal! What's next? No more testing for now other than a repeat MRI when he is about 2 years old. He also has eye surgery scheduled for August 24th to tighten his muscles and straighten his eyes. We are very hopeful that this will help him developmentally and make his life a little easier! It's also necessary so his brain doesn't turn off the signals of one of his eyes and he can begin to really use his eyes together. His vision and physical therapist also ordered him a stander to help him get used to putting weight on his legs and hopefully learn to love that and want to walk! We are very hopeful and optimistic of what is yet to come. Now, let's all hope the kid will learn to enjoy eating one day!!!

Ryan's Butterfly Project
Ryan came home from school one day with a life cycle book of butterflies. He was very interested, as he is in everything he learns in school, so we decided to order some caterpillars and watch them grow and change at home. We had a great time and Ryan learned a lot!
Our Trip to Ocean City
We planned a very last minute trip to Ocean City, Maryland because we felt a family vacation was much needed for ALL of us. We had a great time! Ryan loved it and I think Brayden really enjoyed himself too. We stayed in a beautiful hotel that overlooked the pool and beach.

We spent a lot of time at the pool, ate a lot, played mini golf, went to the boarwalk and spent time at the beach. We had a lot of time together and it was really nice! We learned Brayden does NOT like to sleep in a pack-n-play and really hates the cold pool. Hopefully he'll learn to like a heated pool this summer!
